Lost Island: Surviving Basics

Health

During the mission, your main concern is to keep up the health level of your men high. Hunger, thirst, fatigue and weather influence badly affect it. The health is slowly restored over time when these factors are low.

Hunger and Thirst

Your islanders require food and water for living. Hunger and thirst get harmful on level 10. To satisfy hunger, produce and eat food items. To satisfy thirst, produce and drink beverages.

Fatigue

The person's fatigue increases when he or she performs some work, for instance constructs buildings or creates items. It damages health if you let it rise to 10. Have your character sleep to reduce the fatigue.

Weather

The environmental damage is split into three factors: heat, water and wind. Heat damages food and lowers person's health. Water damages rest of items and affects health as well. Wind destroys most of buildings. Some buildings reduce heat or water damage providing protection for characters and items inside.

Work Speed

Your people are differently fit for performing different kinds of work. They have four characteristics that affect their productivity: strength, dexterity, perception and intellect. Every task is associated with one characteristic. The higher the characteristic's value, the faster the person completes its task.

When people work together on one object, new rules take effect. The person who has highest leadership value becomes a group leader. The leader to some extent may increase working speed of all group members.

Work Quality

Quality of work determines durability of completed items and created objects. It depends on mood of every person who works on the object and on average relationship value in the group.
